Punnamada Luxury back water resort has two categories of houseboats for the tourists- Premium and Ultra luxury. While the former is a larger boat with more capacity, the latter is meant for housing a lesser number of people. The ultra-luxury houseboat is a single bedroom boat that is sized approximately 200 square feet. This single bedroom boat is most ideal for overnight cruises and four day trips; it is also fully air conditioned. Though a single room, the space is meant for three adults at a time. The Premium sized boats on the other hand can house about six adults at one time for an overnight cruise. For a day cruise, this boat can house about twenty five people simultaneously

The Alleppey Backwater Cruise (1D/1N) by itself was a very good , … .. a wonderful experience!! (This was our second such cruise, the first one being 7 years ago.) The food served was also very tasty authentic Kerala cuisine.

But the HouseBoat that was provided was very pathetic. We had booked through MYHOUSEBOATS.COM and paid 9K for a 2 bedroom deluxe. The HB was operated by MINDCRUISER (Boat No.2). When we checked-in the HB seemed okay. But after the cruise began, many problems surfaced.

Good coordination before cruise began. Good service

1. Promised boat was not provided. 2. Food was not up to the mark. 3. Boat break down mid waters, another boat was brought , which stopped after 50 meters due to no diesel, and then transferred to a country boat. Very risky indeed.

the houseboat was excellent . stay was also comfortable. crockery and cutlery was bot adequate to suffice for a family of five. not enough sight seeing was conducted during the stay.

Over all the Experience with House boat arranged was good. House boat was ready for us by the time we reached. It was clean and maintained well. The Crew was friendly in nature and their behavior was good.

Few things can be improved.Crew can be more professional right from cleaning the things.Sight seeing was the major draw back as no major places were covered.Water quality in the boat can be improved.

Houseboat service was good. The boat staff was very friendly and polite. The meal provided by cook was excellent. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Ambieance of houseboat was good. The agent who provided the boathouse , gave proper info about boathouse and activites. Overall myhouseboats.com provided the complete service as mentioned in itinerary. We enjoyed our stay at boathouse and would recommend others to book from myhouseboat.com

Mosquito spray or repellent should be provided in each room as there will be lot of mosquitoes.

> Its not even Deluxe range > Food is very bad > Bedroom is very small and not clean > too many cockroaches inside bed > toilets and interiors are not in good condition

Toilet must be maintained. Quality of water must be checked regularly. Fishing must also be included as an activity.

Food was superb and the staff was awesome.Boat is very good but still they can improve by providing balcony. Rooms are not spacious. Water used in the toilets is from the sea.They need to use a fresh borewell water for toilet use. It was very difficult for us to take shower.

Use borewell water for bathroom usage. Rooms should be still more spacious.

Very neat and clean Houseboats,Awesome food

Very non cooperative crew in your houseboat. Forcing us to sleep at 9:30 so that they can sleep in the living room! While all other boats we see people sitting and enjoying in the living room. Absolutely sad customer service.

Absolutely Great service !!! In Decmber it was a high season time.. rates was too high but Within 1 hour our boat was ready and in very affordable rate.I Don't how Team arranged such a boat in that time..absolutely brilliant.
